About the Masterclass

This masterclass is an immersive two-day experience designed to teach the foundational philosophy, anatomy, and hands-on techniques of the signature Flow Face Massage method.

Students will leave with a deep understanding of facial musculature, skin structure, and the intuitive movement principles that define this approach.

πŸ”΅ DAY 1 β€” FOUNDATION & ANATOMY

Theory β€’ Understanding β€’ Knowledge

10:00–11:00 β€” Welcome & The Flow Philosophy

An introduction to the core principles that form the foundation of Flow Face Massage β€” what it means to truly connect with the person you are working with before your hands ever touch the skin.

β€’ The meaning of β€œflow” in touch and movement

β€’ Intention, presence, and energy before a session

β€’ How philosophy shapes technique

11:00–13:00 β€” Anatomy of the Face & Muscles

A guided introduction to the key muscle groups of the face and how each one connects to the Flow technique. Students will use the course guidelines to study and recognise each area.

β€’ Frontalis β€” the forehead muscle responsible for expression and tension

β€’ Orbicularis oculi β€” the circular muscle around the eye, linked to fatigue and puffiness

β€’ Zygomaticus major and minor β€” the cheek-lifting muscles that are key to facial contour

β€’ Masseter β€” the jaw muscle and one of the most tension-holding areas in the body

β€’ Platysma β€” the neck muscle connecting the jaw to the dΓ©colletage

β€’ How these muscles work together and how the Flow technique addresses each area

13:00–14:00 β€” Lunch Break

14:00–15:30 β€” Skin Types & Skin Structure

Understanding the canvas we work on β€” how different skin types respond to touch, pressure, and movement in the Flow method.

β€’ The layers of the skin: epidermis, dermis, and hypodermis

β€’ Identifying the five main skin types and their characteristics

β€’ How skin type influences the depth and speed of each movement

β€’ Contraindications and special considerations

15:30–16:00 β€” Coffee Break & Q&A

Open discussion, questions, and reflection on the day’s theory before the practical preparation begins.

16:00–18:00 β€” Introduction to Flow Movement & Touch

A preparatory hands-on session that bridges theory and movement. Students begin to experience the quality of Flow touch before the full technique work on Day 2.

β€’ Hand posture, pressure, and rhythm

β€’ The signature Flow movement quality β€” continuous, intentional, and connected

β€’ Guided practice in pairs using basic strokes

πŸ”΅ DAY 2 β€” HANDS-ON TECHNIQUE

Practice β€’ Integration β€’ Mastery

10:00–11:15 β€” Shoulder Technique

The shoulders hold a great deal of accumulated tension and directly affect the quality of circulation reaching the face and neck. We begin here to release and prepare the entire upper body.

β€’ Key shoulder muscles: trapezius, deltoid, and surrounding fascia

β€’ Flow movements for releasing shoulder tension and improving posture

β€’ How shoulder work sets the tone for the complete face massage experience

β€’ Hands-on practice in pairs

11:15–13:00 β€” Neck Technique

The neck is the bridge between the body and the face. Working with this area carefully and precisely supports lymphatic drainage, relieves jaw tension, and prepares the facial skin to receive deeper work.

β€’ Key muscles: sternocleidomastoid, platysma, and scalenes

β€’ Flow strokes for the anterior and posterior neck

β€’ Lymphatic drainage pathways and how the Flow technique supports them

β€’ Hands-on practice in pairs

13:00–14:00 β€” Lunch Break

14:00–15:15 β€” Skull & Head Technique

Scalp and skull work is profoundly relaxing and has a direct effect on facial muscle tension. Students will learn the large, flowing movements that characterise this section of the signature method.

β€’ Key muscles: occipitofrontalis, temporalis, and scalp fascia

β€’ Flow movements across the skull β€” broad, sweeping, and deeply grounding

β€’ How head tension connects to brow lines, eye fatigue, and jaw clenching

β€’ Hands-on practice in pairs

15:15–17:00 β€” Face Technique

The heart of the method. Students will work through the complete signature face sequence β€” a series of connected and flowing movements across all key muscle groups of the face.

β€’ Forehead: releasing the frontalis with long upward strokes

β€’ Eye area: gentle orbicularis work to reduce tension and puffiness

β€’ Cheeks and midface: lifting and contouring movements along the zygomaticus

β€’ Jaw and masseter: deep and intentional release of jaw-holding patterns

β€’ Complete face Flow sequence β€” putting all elements together

β€’ Hands-on practice in pairs with instructor guidance

17:00–18:00 β€” Integration, Review & Closing

A final practice of the complete sequence, followed by group reflection and closing words. Students leave with their course materials and a clear path forward.

β€’ Complete sequence walkthrough from shoulders to face

β€’ Group feedback and personal reflections

β€’ Next steps and continued practice guidance

β€’ Certificate of completion
