The professional pathway consists of two levels and may be completed separately or as a complete 4-day professional certification training.

2-Day Professional Seminar

A professional immersion into the foundations of SHIZEN Japanese Head Spa & Neurosensory Therapies, a methodology developed in Japan by Lilian Sanpei · BIHADA JAPAN.

Throughout the two-day seminar, professionals are introduced to a broader understanding of Head Spa, exploring the relationships between the head, scalp, face, cervical region, skin, and nervous system, together with the foundations of therapeutic touch, sensory perception, and the Japanese SHIZEN philosophy.

The experience incorporates different dimensions of Japanese therapeutic culture, connecting touch, water through the philosophy of SUI 水, SHIZEN Aromatherapy, conscious breathing through KOKYŪ 呼吸, nature, SHIZEN Naturopathy, the body’s natural rhythms, and Omotenashi おもてなし in the creation of a distinctive spa experience.

More than learning a sequence of techniques, the purpose is to build a strong professional foundation for understanding the philosophy, therapeutic principles, and quality of touch that define the SHIZEN Head Spa experience, while considering the relationships between the skin, nervous system, sensory perception, and related body structures.

HAJIME はじめ, expressing the idea of a beginning or first step, represents the entry into the professional SHIZEN universe and establishes the essential foundation for progressing toward the complete professional certification.

2-Day Professional Certification

An advanced professional training designed exclusively for those who have completed SHIZEN Level 1 · HAJIME and wish to deepen their practice and progress toward the complete SHIZEN & BIHADA JAPAN Professional Certification.

At this second level, Head Spa evolves into a broader therapeutic and neurosensory approach, deepening the integration between the head, scalp, face, skin, cervical region, body, and nervous system, while expanding the application of neurosensory therapies and professional SHIZEN Spa Rituals.

The training also introduces MEGURI THERAPY SHIZEN, an exclusive body approach dedicated to women’s care and well-being, integrating therapeutic touch, body awareness, rhythm, breathing, and vitality within the SHIZEN philosophy.

The experience is further developed through distinctive elements of the methodology, including SHIZEN SUI 水 Water Therapy, Tsubo Therapy, KOKYŪ 呼吸, SHIZEN Naturopathy, Japanese Botanical Therapies, Omotenashi おもてなし, and neurosensory spa rituals.

Water, warmth, touch, breathing, rhythm, nature, and therapeutic presence come together to create an integrated multisensory experience.

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION

The certification recognizes the completion of the professional pathway within the SHIZEN methodology.

Participants will also receive an exclusive set of SHIZEN & BIHADA JAPAN professional materials, specially developed and selected to complement the training and support the professional application of the concepts studied.

The Advanced level represents the consolidation of the SHIZEN experience, a methodology in which Head Spa, neurosensory therapies, body therapies, Japanese rituals, naturopathy, nature, and the science of touch converge into an integrated professional approach to care.
